Tyrrell Building Technologies has announced that it will not be passing on a 4.5% price increase from Niagara platform supplier Tridium, which takes effect on 28 June 2026.

Tridium cited ongoing inflationary pressures and supply chain challenges for key raw materials as the reason for the increase. In response, Tyrrell Building Technologies has taken the proactive decision to shield its partner network from the impact — at least in the short to medium term.

“We’re building up significant stock reserves to maintain delivery reliability and protect pricing for our partners. We intend to hold current IONA Niagara 4 Controller prices until the end of the year.” — Tyrrell Building Technologies

To support this commitment, the company is investing in a strategic inventory build-up across all IONA Controller variants, ensuring both price stability and supply continuity for system integrators and building automation partners across the UK and beyond.

Partners who wish to lock in current pricing are advised to renew agreement early or contact their Tyrrell account manager or reach out directly to discuss their project pipelines, as this offer is subject to available stock.
