The Google UDMI Service Base License from Tyrrell Products Ltd is essential for managing IoT systems within Tridium Niagara 4 environments. This service follows the Universal Device Management Interface (UDMI) standard, which facilitates data exchange with cloud entities to support digital twins or shadow devices.
This UDMI service is designed to function across all building subsystems, not limited to a specific vertical. It focuses on device management and allows straightforward operations on IoT devices that act as managed entities in physical spaces. The interface specification is clear and functional, avoiding complex client-library or RPC mechanisms, making it suitable for various applications.
Compatibility is extensive, supporting Google Core IoT, ClearBlade, and standalone on-premises MQTT brokers. The service works with Niagara 4 versions 4.10 to 4.15 and is compatible with several platforms, including the Web Supervisor and models like JACE8000, JACE9000, and Tyrrell Products IONA.
The UDMI service supports a variety of brands, including Tridium, Centraline, Distech, and Honeywell. For licensing, UDMI Point License Packs start at 100 points and do not require Global Points Licenses. All new purchases include software maintenance, covering both the current and next releases of Niagara 4.
