The Tyrrell Products Ltd IONA Intel Controller combines the highest in class processing speed, connectivity and IO. IONA includes 6 universal inputs, and 6 digital inputs, 8 analogue outputs and 4 digital outputs, housed in a compact unit. This device runs on the Tridium Niagara 4 platform, compatible with versions N4.15, which enhances security and functionality. The IONA Intel achieves full station functionality in just 40 seconds after power-up.

Equipped with the advanced Intel Elkhart Lake Dual Core Processor, the IONA-I Controller offers exceptional processing speeds and efficient performance across various environments, handling complex tasks like real-time data processing and responsive edge analytics with ease

The controller features dual Ethernet and RS485 ports, supporting communication protocols such as BACnet, KNX, Modbus, and M-Bus. Its built-in I/O reduces the need for external modules, cutting installation costs. Licensing can extend from 50 points to over 10,000 data points, with increments of 50 points available, compared to the starting upgrade of 500 Points on a JACE.

When IONA is licensed for fewer than 150 points, it is classified as an 'EDGE' device, offering a budget-friendly connectivity to a Web Supervisor. One normal Niagara Network connection (for a JACE) = 10x EDGE connections within Niagara Network.

An optional interface for LoRaWAN provide extended wireless monitoring on your project. IONA becomes the LoRaWAN Gateway, Network Server and Smart Building application all in the one box. A dedicated LoRaWAN driver is provided to easily get the data points into Niagara 4.

The optional cellular interface provides remote access, cloud-based reporting, and SMS alarm notifications. The IONA Controller also includes a maintenance package for one or two years, ensuring reliability and ongoing support for your control needs.
