Ensuring regular system backups is one of the most valuable and important tasks that a Niagara engineer must perform. Whilst there are built in tools such as provisioning which allow remote stations such as JACE’s to be backed up onto a Supervisor head end, there is nothing to automate backups of the supervisor station itself. ossStationBackup is designed to automate backups of a Niagara Supervisor station. It works on a simple schedule and fires the built in Backup Service, ensuring that regular backups of the supervisor itself are taken. These backups may then be stored elsewhere.
