The OpenConnect development provides a flexible product that allows fast integration between fire alarm systems and Building Management System (BMS) protocols.

The configuration of points from the fire system is made possible via the OpenConnect web user interface. This provides fixed web pages to engineers for the configuration and review of completed configurations.

OpenConnect is capable of providing connections to various systems using industry standard protocols such as:
• BACnet IP
• BACnet MSTP (RS485)
• Modbus TCP
• Modbus Serial (RS485)
• LON FTT10

The OpenConnect gateway supports any fire alarm system that adopts the Apollo OpenConnect Loop protocol. The OpenConnect Gateway currently supports:
• Kentec Syncro fire alarm panels fitted with an OpenConnect interface card.
• VES Elite RS fire alarm panels fitted with an OpenConnect interface card.
• Shield Omega fire alarm panels fitted with an OpenConnect interface car
