Unlock Trend BMS Integration with Niagara 4

Integrate existing Trend IQ controllers with Tridium Niagara 4 using Tyrrell Products’ Trend IP Driver, featuring automatic discovery, scheduling, alarm integration and flexible licensing.
The Trend IP Driver from Tyrrell Products enables integration of existing Trend Building Management Systems (BMS) with Tridium Niagara 4, helping organisations access and manage building data without replacing compatible Trend controllers.
Seamless Integration and Automatic Discovery
The driver connects to a non-secure VCNC on a Trend LAN and automatically discovers connected Trend outstations and supported points, including sensors, inputs, drivers, knobs and switches.
For installations with multiple Trend LANs, additional driver networks and VCNC connection licences are required.
Support for Legacy and Modern Trend Controllers
The driver supports IQ1, IQ2, IQ3, IQ4, IQeco and IQL controllers, allowing existing systems to be integrated into Niagara 4.
Discovery of legacy IQ1 and IQ2 controllers depends on suitable firmware, while IQL connections require specific configuration.
The driver also supports logic and function blocks and provides configuration mode functionality for IQ1 and IQ2 controllers.
Scheduling and Alarm Management
The driver supports importing and exporting Trend Time Zones, allowing Niagara schedules to control one or more Trend Time Zones.
It can also receive Trend alarms through the connected VCNC or use Niagara Alarm Extensions.
Trend Time Zone control and Trend alarm receiving are separately licensed features.
Flexible Licensing and Demo Mode
Licence packs are available for different project sizes, with additional VCNC connections available for multi-LAN installations.
Each integrated Trend point requires one Niagara 4 Global Capacity Point Licence.
A two-hour demo mode is also available for evaluating the driver.
