Description

The iSMA-B-8I-IP module features 8xDI (Digital Inputs) that can function as either dry contacts or fast pulse counters, with a capability to save data in EEPROM memory at a pulse rate of up to 100 Hz.

This module comes pre-equipped with two widely used open communication protocols, namely Modbus TCP/IP and BACnet IP, which can be selected using DIP switches.

The module also incorporates a built-in Modbus Gateway TCP/IP to Modbus ASCII/RTU, enabling seamless connectivity to additional modules/devices that communicate via Modbus RS485.

Addressing the modules is simplified through the use of rotary switches, streamlining and accelerating the system commissioning process.

Moreover, the module includes a built-in mini USB port, allowing for initial configuration without the need for an external power supply.
