TextAlert SMS Pack

This driver allows you to send Niagara 4 alarms via SMS from a Controller or Web Supervisor. This pack is compatible with all brands on Tridium including Trend IQVision.

Tridium Niagara 4 already has a built in SMS Service that was initially developed for the Niagara AX release of the software. This Service is reliant on a RS232 connection to a GSM Modem, in Niagara 4 this restricts the use of the Service to JACE8000 controllers fitted with a RS232 expansion card, the Web Supervisor no longer has a Serial Service and does not support the SMS feature as standard.

The SMS Service has now been extended to support an IP transport layer allowing an IP enabled cellular modem to be used to send messages (alarms) via SMS. This supports both a JACE8000, all 3rd party controllers and Web Supervisors.
